Yeah but Dragon Knights aren't mentioned in DD and yet Divinity 2 and Dragon Commander are stating that they were around back then and long before. FoV also stated that Bellegar was around long before Divine Divinity and Original Sin (back during the chaos war) so it wouldn't be lore breaking to have him pop up in Original Sin considering it's established he has been around for a long time (and in his own words, saved humanity once before from the Apocalypse).

Larian Studios, I'll be honest, I've never heard of Divinity or your company until my friend gave me Divinity 2: DKS one day.
Needless to say, I finished it.
Bellegar left SUCH an impression on me that I went to google, just to read more about him, to try and just... learn stuff that I didn't already know, y'know?

I stumbled upon this forum thread.
Honestly, I don't know if I'll buy Original Sin.
But what I DO know is that Bellegar is a GREAT character, and should definitely be kept around in the future Divinity games.
So I made this account on this website, no more than 10 minutes ago, just to say:

Count me as one more vote towards BELLEGAR!

I just knew that Larian wouldn't leave this sexy bastard out.

He was one of the best characters in DKS. I'm glad that he is going to show his face again! To some extent, Bellegar embodies the humour in Divinity games. The fact that he is also extremely powerful makes things even better
