Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Newbie Help! Ack... He walks so SLOW!

Hello!

I just downloaded the demo, and if all goes well, I'll get the game soon.

My biggest concern so far -- my character walks so darn SLOW! Is there no way to make him run?

Unfortunately, there isn't much in the way of explanation for what to do in the demo, so I'm not sure how to fix this, if it indeed can be fixed.

Can you run around quickly in the full version, or must I saunter everywhere??

Any help would be great.

just press R...and if that doesn't work then get the full version

If you just click somewhere he will walk (unless you press the 'r' key), but if you hold down the mouse he will run. You hold it down and point at the place you want to go, he'll run.

Hey hold on <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" /> It's been a while that I played, so it's a miracle I remember this <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> If ye click and hold the mousebutton somewhere close to yer character, (s)he will walk in that direction, but if ye click and hold a bit away from him/her, (s)he will run <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

yup, that's also explained in the manual of the game

Also, if you're a survivor then you can use the super speed bug, to do this you use the speacial move (crouch) then turn into a frog, run around until your stamina runs out then you change back to a human and you will always run the speed of a frog.
