I did not followed the informations for quite a long time (it is hard to be a geek with a social life ;p)
And I am sooooooo glad that Larian went onto kickstarter to improve their game, BUT I am so much desapointed by the fact that the goodies included are the OST and a cloth map... it is exactly the same than d2 ego draconis collector !!
I must admit that I expected more frown
I support your games !! I am 100% in and I can promise I will buy d:os but I will wait to see if the collector version offers more interesting goodies to buy the game !! My only best regret is that I could not access the beta version and it is too bad because I liked so much the fact that supporting kickstarter campaign we will have a kind of "customised game"

Sigh. The worse part about this kickstart is the release isn't till Nov (earliest).

Be grateful it wasn't a platter of escargots and baguettes.

Backed, can't wait to play this (looks like I won't get much work done in 2014 with all the old-school RPGs coming out...).

Good luck! (also hi from Codex)

I would think Larian is looking into alternate payment methods. I haven't really followed any kickstarter campaigns, but know at least a few also have a paypal option (not that that is really popular in Europe, either, AFAIK).
Crate Entertainment set up pre-orders for Grim Dawn from their website with categories similar to the kickstarter tiers (after the kickstarter ended).

EDIT: There is a short FAQ at the bottom of the kickstarter page:

Will there be a way to support through PayPal?

Yes, we are working on it. As soon as it's implemented, we will link to it.

Thanks Raze !

I really hope Larian do give an alternative payment method because I want to give them a
"big thank you"
(=read sum of goldcoints, I mean ... euro's),
but now I can't help to raise the sum on Kickstarter ... and that's really sadly ! cry

Actually to be more accurate Grim Dawn started with a pre-order on their site a year or two before the kickstart campaign (they made it clear in the pre-order that they were using the money to fund the development with no promises - think of it as a 'self' kickstart). Then kickstart became a fad and their fans encourage them to add a kickstart. I was kind of disappointed they didn't do better as they are a great bunch of folks with a bit of hard luck but it is as it is. Not to discredit them as I did support their kickstart; but I am definitely am more eager for Divinity Original Sin then Grim Dawn - just a personal preference for deeper rpg and tbs over hack/slash (though of the hack/slash group I found titan quest much more enjoyable than diablo series or torch light series).
