Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems I am having problems downloading the game

Every time I try to download the game to windows 8 it says the file is corrupted . How do I fix this problem? I make sure to turn off my anti virus stuff. Please help.

Is this the Larian Vault version?

So it is Windows saying the file is corrupt when you try to install? The downloader didn't give any errors?

Did you try running the program as administrator? Installing from and to a folder other than in the Program Files path?


I downloaded the Larian Vault version a couple months ago. Below are some checksum values created by the freeware program Hash. You can use these values to compare to the files you downloaded. If they are the same, then the problem is with Windows and not the download itself; if they are different, there could be corruption, or possibly an update since I downloaded them (I don't recall if the 1.506 update was included at the time; the file version should be different if it was updated, anyway).
