...is just over a month away, IIRC. I'm thinking of spending a few days in Ghent, so I'd like to get hotels and train tickets booked well in advance if possible. Any chance the devs could suggest some not-too-expensive places to stay near to Larian Studios? Maybe some of us could meet up if we end up staying in the same area?

Does anyone still want to come but has no ticket? I've got one, which as I understand it is for two people, but since I'll be visiting alone, there's uh... still one spot available. smile

You know it would be tempting; but kind of difficult to make arrangements (i'm in usa); also I have a doctor appointment on the 9th and they would kill me if i didn't show up (gotta schedule those things 8 months in advance frown )

Riiight... leaving it just a *teensy* bit late (which can be applied to *lots* of things in my life, by the way), but I'm going to the Fan Day too (after pouring much of my savings into that darn kickstarter I'd better get my money's worth, right hahaha), and I was wondering if a Weresheep/general Larian fan might want to accompany me.

I'm planning on travelling by car (starting in the north of the Netherlands, nearish to Amsterdam, then moving south via Utrecht and Breda) on Friday morning, and staying in a B&B overnight.
I *think* that an interested party can just send me a PM, but I'll be checking the forum as well, just to be sure.

Also, a very stupid question... what's the address shame ? Is it, by any chance, Stapelplein 70?

Stapelplein 70A, you can't miss really. Big building, surrounded by a gate (to protect our games). On it, you can read the letters 'handelsdokcenter'.

Hey if any non-weresheep go to fan day could you do me a favor and sneak some titanium stakes and titanium tip arrows into the game ? While it is well known that them sheeps are immune to silver stakes; what is not yet well known is titanium stakes do wonders....

thanks.

Thanks to all the Larian team ! It was a really nice and interesting day. And it was fun playing DC against the devs, even if I got trashed smile.
Also curious to see how the result of our little contribution will end up wink.

Someone was taking picture/filming during the day so I'm pretty sure there will be something to see soon enough.

I didn't take any pictures (only have a crappy mobile phone camera) but someone was filming us quite a bit of the time, so I imagine pictures/videos will end up on Kickstarter eventually.

Here are some of the things we got to do:
- See a preview of another level in the game (don't want to describe too much because of spoilers)
- Design a short quest, which will hopefully end up in the final game
- Some people got to play a bit of the game in co-op mode (I didn't do this, but I think it was the same level that's already been shown in the Kickstarter previews)
- Play a new build (I think) of Dragon Commander in co-op or competitive multiplayer. It looks like you can now research stuff directly from the strategy map.
- Go out for dinner and drinks with the team to celebrate the release of Dragon Commander
- And when we left, we were given free copies of the Divinity Anthology, and a framed copy of the D:OS concept art signed by the whole team.

tl;dr it was amazing. cool I especially liked the part where we designed a quest together, which was really interesting and informative; you don't necessarily realise how much work goes into even a relatively simple quest until you've seen it for yourself!
