Larian Studios Forums Dragon Commander Dragon Commander - Technical Problems Unable to start gme

I'm using steam. When I start the game, it immediately crushes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've tried starting from the DCApp.exe. So far that has not worked.

I did get the beta version key from the Divinity Kickstarter. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/larianstudios/divinity-original-sin It worked when it was in beta but not since the official release. The Steam version says Dragon Commander Beta. I'm wondering if it never upgraded to the full version for some reason?

There wasn't an automatic upgrade to the full version of the game, since there were lots of beta keys given away (20k in the Alienware promo, for example). There should be a separate key for Dragon Commander if you check the Larian Vault; see the D:OS kickstarter update #43.
