Hello everyone,
I just installed Dragon commander on my Windows 7 but everytime I open the game my mouse isn't there anymore frown I really want to play the game, butI really don't know how to do it with an invisible mouse. Does anybody had the same Problem or could give an advice

Do you have Anti-Aliasing forced in your video drivers?

Did you install the patch for the Larian Vault / GOG version, or verify local files for the Steam version?

If you use the arrow keys and Enter, you should be able to select Tutorial in the main menu, and then Training Grounds to get to an RTS battle. Does the cursor show up then? It should be the game cursor most of the time, and change to a square (4 corners) icon when over a building or unit that can be selected; holding the middle mouse button down should switch to a white circular reticule in the middle of the screen and allow you to move the mouse to change the camera direction (the scroll wheel zooms in and out).
If you wait for the timer to count down until you can spawn as a dragon (hotkey R), there should be the white reticule in the middle of the screen, and the game cursor if you hit F10 to bring up a menu.

Try a different resolution or display mode:

You can manually set the resolution by editing the graphicsettings.lsx file in Wordpad, or other text editor, located in the folder:

C:/Users/ %username% /My Documents/Larian Studios/Dragon Commander

Look for the section

<node id="ConfigEntry">
<attribute id="MapKey" value="ScreenHeight" type="22" />
<attribute id="Type" value="0" type="5" />
<attribute id="Value" value="768" type="4" />
</node>
<node id="ConfigEntry">
<attribute id="MapKey" value="ScreenWidth" type="22" />
<attribute id="Type" value="0" type="5" />
<attribute id="Value" value="1024" type="4" />
</node>

Search for 'fake' near the start of the file to set the display mode (if both FakeFullscreen and Fullscreen are set to zero, it will be in Window mode).

<node id="ConfigEntry">
<attribute id="MapKey" value="FakeFullscreenEnabled" type="22" />
<attribute id="Type" value="0" type="5" />
<attribute id="Value" value="0" type="4" />
</node>
<node id="ConfigEntry">
<attribute id="MapKey" value="FrameCapFPS" type="22" />
<attribute id="Type" value="0" type="5" />
<attribute id="Value" value="60" type="4" />
</node>
<node id="ConfigEntry">
<attribute id="MapKey" value="Fullscreen" type="22" />
<attribute id="Type" value="0" type="5" />
<attribute id="Value" value="1" type="4" />
</node>
