Heh, games....I seem to have it all backwards when I look at games, I usually get older ones over newer ones. Just got Fallout 1 & 2.

As for interesting prospects:
Sacred, Spellforce, and (maybe) Warrior Kings: Battles ....perhaps more are added, and some are taken away.

I checked out Sacred, it looks decent, but I'm kind of curious why some developers don't let people just choose the gender of their characters, I always like to have a 'feel' for my player/avatar (read, I probably will play with the Wood Elf, Seraphim and Vampiress character eventually, but I'm kind of puzzled why male versions of those classes were left out, same thing with female versions of the Assassin, Magician, and Gladiator - I could be mistaken though?).

Spellforce looks sweet, and for some reason Lords of Magic popped into my head when I looked at it, which is odd in itself since I've never played LoM. But I like RTS titles and RPG's, so ....
There is also another game made by JoWooD that looked interesting to me, but the name escapes me at the moment.

Warrior Kings is a good little game that is enjoyable, if alittle 'unsupported' at the moment. So it's only natural of me to look upon Warrior Kings: Battles with renewed hope of a better world.

I'm still curious about Project Nomads, it just reminds me of my younger days when I used to play Netstorm, so I might pick it up sometime.

And of course there is Seraphim, which as far as I know is NEVER going to be released. It's page is here -> http://www.valkyriestudios.com/AngelHome.htm
It looks like Sacrifice, but with wings. It also reminds me of a game that I saw a preview of on Heat.net called Skies.

Gaming is an expensive addiction.
Especially when it comes to keeping up with the console and pc game market. Thankfully, I'm more picky about what console games I have.

Fallout 2 was great... played it when it came out. I recently bought a dual pack with fallout 1&2 but was having a hard time dealing with fallout 2's somewhat outdated graphics (the problem with going back to old games... same thing happened when i went to play chronotrigger) so i never even installed 1... no idea if its comparable with the second

Anyone else find Fallout tactics a bit of a letdown?

Looking forward to that gladiator game... sacred looks pretty neat also... oh yeah and Fable for Xbox

Has anyone played Icewind Dale 1 & 2 and if you have what did you think of them????

Also with Arcanum has anyone played it etc etc etc

Just curious as to your thoughts.

I still have to finish Planescape seeing i got a fair way through it and developed a bug that stuffed my game so i have to start it again which has stopped me playing it for awhile lol.....i have to do it sooner or later i guess hehe

So far the impression Fallout has on me is great. Nice and easy to get into.

I have Chrono Trigger, haven't played too far into it, but it's been enjoyable so far. My self-cursed rule of doing things in an organized order was skewed by this series because I played Chrono Cross before I even touched Chrono Trigger .

Arcanum is a nice game to get lost in, things move at a 'realistic' pace (the first time I read the in-game newspaper I was hooked on it, I even waited sometimes JUST for the newspaper to come out ), my favourite setup is using a halfing thief and robbing everything in sight. I use Tolo Underhill's NPC level-up scheme since it upgrades all the skills I use, so I get a halfing/thief/assassin that can kill most things with ONE backstab.. Mwahaha

I've never had the pleasure of playing Icewind Dale, it interest me though, since I enjoyed all of the Baldur's Gate series.

Icewind Dale is ALOT of hack and slash though. Don't expect Planescape type dialogue/story or even close to Baldur's Gate. Still quite fun, though I didn't like 2 for some reason.

Fallout 1/2 and Icewind Dale 1/2 are great games. In fact, I enjoyed both as much as DD. Yes, IWD is hack and slash, but that's what it was meant to be from the start, so I didn't expect anything other than that (although I heard some people complaining it wasn't the next Baldur's Gate). I just recently installed Fallout 1 again on my WinXP with GF4 and it works fine. No problems with that, but again, I didn't finished it Didn't finish Fallout 2 too.

I finished the game by using only 2 spells. The demon spawn spell (can't remember the name) and fireball/fireflash/whatevername... With high cons and wisdom, the demon made the game too easy. Killed the final boss with only 3 demons while i sat back and watched the show.

Chronotrigger is one of the best rpgs i have every played. great story line. i would reccommend that anybody who has never played it download snes emulator and the rom. DD is wonderful too. that sacred game looks nice. i think that is one of the next games on my buy list.

I'm gonna buy the Bloodmoon expansion for Morrowind.
I intended to buy Master Of Orion 3, but I read so many negative
reviews that I changed my mind.
Maybe I'll go for 'Galactic Civilizations' instead, and I'll definetly
buy Divine Divinity 2 if there is one.

What kind of game is Silver? Seems to have made a good impression on those who have played it. Anyone here play Suidoken III? I didnt like this game much at first but it grew on me... many things to do and 70 or so characters to develop and add to your party... I have heard Suidoken 1 and 2 were better but I never played either so I dont know what I'm missing. I've been having a hard time maintaining interest in alot of newer games lately... xenosaga and .hack both seemed disappointing to me and i cant bring myself to dump any more money on halfway decent games anyone else starving for a really quality rpg?
