Why? Because awesome things comes from a the egg of a Dragon.

At first I thought the Divine Engine seemed like an obvious and great choice, yet The Dragon Engine just sounds soo awesome. So RPG. So I want to make a mod with the Dragon Engine...

Would you mind elaborating on why? I appreciate the idea of a neutral sounding name, but why does it really matter?

I guess come to think of it, it's not really the done thing (naming your engine after your game(s), with studios that create their own engine as far as I'm aware. Yet I'm struggling to understand why it would matter to do so.

But yeah, Dragon Engine +1

I like it wink nothing beats a succinctly descriptive title when implementing proactive forward-thinking technological advancements for dynamic market-based solutions to synergistic visions.

I checked, Dragon Engine is the name of an old Magic the Gathering card. The name might be trademarked.

(Dragon Egg, or Egg Engine sounds cool too).

PISSED?
Uhuh... yeah, that'll be a marketable name 0_o

Also, there's Unreal Engine 1,2,3 and 4. And that's the most popular engine out there.

Their scripting language already has a name, Osiris, unsure about the typography as I only ever heard that name on one of the kickstarter updates... so for consistency I would go with something in a similar vane and abstract to the type of game or even genre, as far as I can tell that scripting language is also unique to the their engine/s.

If they're going for god names, then this engine should clearly be called Ouroboros.

I am voting for any name with a "Source" in it

I'd argue Hephaestus (Hephaistos), Greek god of the forge. Don't you think?

Actually, while I think there are some creative names so far (like LarK & the Dragon Engine,) if for some reason we needed to keep brainstorming, I think "Forge" is a great place to start:

The Forge
Dragonforge
Larian Forge

But Hephaestus is a solid proper name, too. hahaha

SinKit (Kinda like Sink it... everything including the kitchen sink... or.. Sin Kit... lol)

HOG (Hand of God, since it works with multiple game titles)

Then there's fun names like... Muffins.. Sprinkles... Cupcake... lol
