Hey guys, so I'm not too sure why this is happening, but multiple crashes are happening at different points with no specific reason why it would be crashing....

1) When I save it crashes to desktop, almost consistently, I have no save games, so the intro video is becoming... long
2) Random points of the game the screen will jerk and crash
3) Sometimes it won't even get past the intro video and crash

I've been sending the crash reports, but of late there seems to be a server problem (?) that stops me from sending it.

Previous versions did work and I had a couples hours here and there, but there just seems to be something wrong here. I know it works for a lot of people, but I'm curious as to if anyone knows what could be the problem?

THanks!

Maybe your PC is not strong enough? I have a lot of crashes while saving/loading the game on my pentium dual core, while my brother on core i7 doesn't have them at all.

I have a 3.2Ghz quad core, with 8Gigs of Ram, but I only have the Radeon HD5670, so that may be a problem, but I'm thinking not so because it can run some pretty heavy duty games...?

Try running it at the lowest settings, btw you can just skip the intro video by pressing "esc" button.

And since you got 8gb I asume you are running it on 64 bit windows, and hopefully not under linux wine

I'll try lowest setting, but even the ESC doesn't work smirk
Windows 7 64 bit, yeah.

Yup, still crashes right after I save (it doesn't even save onto disk, just crashes to desktop)
And the video doesn't skip if I press ESC.

So, what would cause the keyboard not to work (though Alt + F4 works)?

Not recognized?

Because I can type in a save game name too....

Just in game that the keyboard doesn't work...

Does the chat window have text focus? Try hiding it (bottom left corner button) or click and hold to move your characters and then try the keyboard (hotkeys, etc).

@Raze - That would be a no frown

The intro video can't be skipped because of the same reason.

Either it is my keyboard, which I don't think it is, because I am typing as you can see. Or its the software and it doesn't accept or like the model of keyboard. (HP)

So I'm not sure what to tell you, but not being able to save, because it crashes if I do, is very frustrating!
