Just bought the game and am downloading now cant wait to try this baby out!

It's the Beta, not the finished game, the finished game launches June 30 and the Beta saves will NOT carry into the final game so if I were you I'd just wait for now.

Ok yeah ima try it out abit just to see how it is but wont play much till the 20th

...or just play the game to get a feel of it. Knowing your going to have to do a restart just gives you the opportunity to check things out, get a feel of the classes, and the general gist of the games mechanics. The doom of restarting is only such when you are unprepared for it.

For my part, I've been glad to replay the beginning several times now. It has provided me with dozens of hours of fun and some helpful context for what builds I'll most enjoy when doing my first full playthrough.

It's not a big secret but the release date is currently pushed back to 30th of this month (Just a friendly reminder for whom stumbled on this thread). Also, the save games during the beta testing are not compatible thorugh each version. Means, you are most likely to give up everything you saved.

I would like to just play with the character creation and try out the different classes. Really don't need to go deep into the game.

Indeed, nothing wrong with learning mechanics, test out stuff..especially test the way elements affect each other.

did the same thing, stopped now cuz i was no longer able to not interact with main story, but its nice to already have a feel for it

Well from what I've seen in vids what is overwhelming is the skills and abilities and how they translate into game-play.

Right, you can play the game straight , w/out trying out the features, but I'd sway away from that...for instance picking up Barrels of (water,oil,etc) and crushing mobs..or townfolk if your not careful..found that about the hard way on the docks. ...set up for some funny times indeed.
