I notice sometimes that either during a battle or trap that one of the characters will be receiving fire damage.

What is the fastest way of putting out the fire?

No stop, drop and roll?. horsey

hehe, well you can use the rain spell if you have it! or have it on a scroll. Currently that is the only way I know of.

While it won't put out the fire, counteracting it with a heal over time (if you have one) might be less risky than waiting on a rainstorm to do its thing. The heal should pulse at the same rate as the fire damage is applied, I believe.

I've heard you will now stop burning if you get yourself into the water puddle surface.
Also, wasn't there some sort of skill that removes negative effects from characters?

If you cast an ice spell on the character, it also helps. At least that was the case in the first beta.

If I had to go through fire surfaces, I chilled my character and he got less demage from fire.
