It turned out the following: those who got the game as a gift from a friend who bought the pack contains 2 keys (1 + 1 gift) + 2 games (Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity) No tabs with the choice of language, but the one who paid for the game - there.

It isn't a problem. Non-English localizations are not supported in the beta. Barring any delays for specific languages (read somewhere the Russian localization may be delayed), you will have the option to change the language on Monday.

Will there be a Steam free Version in the Future? I whould like to play the Game but Steam is not goin to be installed on my PC!

There will be a GOG release, as well as DRM free directly from the Larian Vault. The final kickstarter update (presumably on Monday, possibly later today) will have some information on the GOG release.

Also, to clarify, Steam is only used as the downloader/updater, it is not required to play the game.

OMG! On the web-site russian game publisher appeared very unpleasant information - translation appears to September 1, 2014. Two months in which to finish the subtitles - they mock us.

Your English is pretty good. At the very least a lot better than my Russian. I don't think I know a single word in Russian so I have to admire the people that can speak multiple languages.

But yes, it's not always easy to me to speak/write a good English,
and for a game like D::OS with a lot of text I prefer play in my native language

So.. the game is released... and the FR is report to tomorrow, but Larian say :
"Suite à un large volume de texte et à des modifications de dernière minute, la version française de Divinity:Original Sin ne sera disponible que demain. Vous pouvez déjà télécharger la version anglaise en attendant que le jeu ne passe automatiquement au français demain, à condition d’avoir défini le français comme langue préférée. Les parties enregistrées resteront compatibles."

But with the gift version WE CAN'T SET THE LANGUAGE ! So ?

Final release day, game updated by Steam and I can't choose any language [FR] here. There's no language tab anywhere.

I played alpha and beta, my copy isn't a "gift" one, and I still have reds "This is a beta build".

Maybe you should restart your Steam Client and verify your game files - I do not have "this is a beta build" text in my copy anymore.

you can choose the language in Steam ! Not in the game.
Right click on D:OS -> Properties -> Language Tab

@Telev : le probleme c'est que pour ceux qui on eu le jeu en cadeau steam par ami il n'y a pas cette option !

Oui je ne te le fais pas dire. Ce qui m'embete le plus presque, c'est que cela fait 2 jours que j'essaye d'avoir des infos la dessus mais que je n'ai aucun retour mis a part :attendre le jour de la release.

Mais le jour de la release est venu, l'onglet non.

Durant le WE je l'ai deinstaller et reinstaller 3 fois,
j'ai meme supprime tout steam et reinstalle.

Edit : Je l'ai meme installer sur un autre poste pour voir : pareil. C'est un pb avec cette "version".
J'ai d'autres amis dans le meme cas avec la version cadeau.

Faudra voir une fois que la langue Fr sera uploader si ton jeux bascule en francais.
Car pour le moment, malgré le choix de la langue, le jeux est toujours en anglais.
Normalement demain le francais serait disponible.

Comme ton steam est en francais, ton jeux devrais "normalement" passé en fr

Il y avait deja les langues dispo ce WE (meme si pas fini) et ca ne passer pas en FR,
donc j'en doute plus que fortement.

Ce que je veux maintennant, c'est que quelqu'un de Larian ce penche sur le pb et nous dise :
"oui c'est normal" ou "non c'est etrange, on ve regarder ca".
