I am having such a strange problem I am getting these strange artefacts when I load up the game and its on the main menu. I have no idea what is causing it. It is not a graphics card issue because since then I have played games to test, such as GW2, Titan Fall, WoW, Hearthstone and Rift and the games run fine, look fine and go at a steady clip of 60+ fps. Thats the first problem.

My second issue is, even though my system has the game running at Ultra settings with EVERYTHING turned on and at a resolution of 2560x1440, the game isn't showing all of the spell effects. For example if I lay down Oil then set it alight, the oil just disappears and there is no after effect. My friend who is running on a much slower laptop, using a much slower GPU and Processor at much lower settings has none of these issues,

I am using Windows 8, Catalyst Version 14.4. and Divinity STEAM edition.

My specs include: Intel i5 2500k 4.6Ghz
ATI 7950 1060/1550
1600Mhz 2x4GB (8GB)
AX 1200 PSU

Please help guys, I just don't know what to do and cannot play like this, I have reinstalled the game 3 times now on 3 different drives and I just have the same issue : (
