i faced dragon rider to retrieve the dragon heart. he killed me in one hit (i was goin for a mage). tried curse freeze elemental hail deadly disks and so on, like i've read in the forum. nothin helped. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> and then.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> i just summoned demonic aid. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/alien.gif" alt="" /> with it's resistances dragon rider was easy as pie. i just waited until he will kill rider and collected stuff layn on the flore. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

They should have done more with the dragons in this game. For example, after killing that one dragon rider and meeting the Black Dragon, the other dragon forces are kinda too weak to really pose a challenge at the end of the game. Another thing, at the end of the game, I might have seen a total of 7 dragons in total attacking me, which I thought was really too weak. They should have did a quest to maybe rescue the Black dragon or something on those lines. Too few dragons at the end, though dragons in games should be one of the hardest enemies to defeat.

I was actually wondering if you could kill or attack the black dragon in the end (patriarch??). I would be cool to fight such a mighty dragon.

You can kill Patriarch with area effect spell such as poison cloud, elemental hail.

Or throw poison potions at him, but it'll take a lot of time using this.

After all the help you have given us gamers dragon i almost feel sorry for all the dragon's i killed in RPG's (you will notice i said almost he he he he )

In BG2 the pause and attack method to kill Dragons was sooooo easy i almost felt sorry for them (once again i said almost mwhhahahahahaha)

Although i was a good aligned character in BG2 so the Silver Dragon lived on and her eggs were saved.........does that somehow mitigate my sentance and maybe allow me to live a little longer under your wise forgiving eyes?
