Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Ratcatcher's quest and Grutilda

I have some kind of misunderstanding with the ratcatcher. I have made the cat run from the village, and helped king of rats. So ratcatcher quickly found the hidden cellar, but he didn't find anybody there because I had helped them to run before. Of course, he was afraid of Grutilda and ran out of the village(dissappeared neat the gates). I spoke with Grutilda, but she only said that this madman couldn't control himself and killed hidden villagers. What does it mean? Mustn't she execute him after this fail?

She should, tell her to kill the rat catcher

If I could do it, I wouldn't write about this problem here. So did you actually manage to tell it to her?

Anyway Ratcatcher is gotten rid of.


Killing him is not necessary. I didn't ask Grutilda to kill any orcs because I want more EXP.

Anyway there should be such option too. I play as quite a cruel character.
