Larian Studios Forums Divinity - Original Sin Divinity - Original Sin - General Pets?

AFAIK, those who were part of the Kickstarter for this game received an ability to summon pets. Is that so? Are these pets just for combat like with summoned creates or can they do something else, like take your loot and sell it in the city (like in Torchlight 2)? Do you have to have the skill to talk to pets to have them? Could someone provide more info regarding these pets, please?

Kickstarter pets doesn't have any time limit and can be used on and off combat. Off combat, they just follow you around until they get destroyed. Some pets can also affect the environment.

*I think they level up with their summoner, but I might be wrong.

OK, so they fight until they die or do they get destroyed some other way? Can they do something cool or something else? Can they be revived? Do you have to have that ability to talk to animals to use/have these pets?

Fight until death. Can be controlled in combat. Cannot control out of combat. Can be summoned again upon death.
