I really want to know this achievement is still bugged or already fixed after 1.0.81.

Because many people got this achievement after 1.0.81 patched.

I'm confused.

All I know; I don't have it.
Don't know if I entered the Hunter's Edge map before or after though...

I entered hantom forest after 1.0.81, and I didn't get the achievement. So I think it is still bugged.

I have a save right after getting the item before the tree. I just tried going in again and it didn't unlock.

Is there a special part of the forest you have to be in for it to work?

I did notice that there's a yellow dialogue exclamation while one of my characters is in the tree trunk, but there's no way to talk to my other character. Either they'll die going in or the exclamation mark just disappears.

I think the main difference is that the dialogue about the bridge and the taint doesn't happen anymore. Might explain why it's broken.

For the bridge convo, if someone leaves the bridge (to talk to the other) the convo stops.
To get around that I had one go half-way and the other eventually past the point that the ! appeared. When that happened I could make the talk, then get the poisoned character back and healed.

Not very fluid a sollution, but it worked. No achiev though.

According to a guide I read you should get it entering the Hunter's Edge map rather than the Phantom Forest. Doesn't make much sense to me, but could be possible. A friend of mine got it anyway... not sure how.

I can confirm the achievement is still bugged and just the same, it's the only one that I don't have.

I just got the achievement. But despite the fact that the amulet was on my first hero it was the hero who picked it up who said it is protected. I'm not sure how this will work if you have picked up the amulet with a companion. So i just went with the protected hero until I hit the clean area above the mist and I got it

There's probably a way to get it since the % of people who have it on Steam is going up - maybe if you start a whole new game after the latest patch?

I entered Phantom Forest after 1.0.81 and didn't get the achievement, either.

EDIT: if anyone got the achievement recently, could you please upload your savegame from before you got it, so the rest of us achievement harlots could try and get it as well?

I tried reloading my saves again, still nothing.

I have a feeling there's something broken on our entire save file. I really don't want to start over a third playthrough...

I also have this bug, the achievement does not trigger.

I would really appreciate if anyone can share a working saved game.

Can confirm it has been properly patched and works as of 1.0.130.
