ah that sucks, have you done every quest there and got all the items or not??
if you do, i suggest you try and make a run for it.
if you dont, i wish you good luck and a lot of patience.
even when i had creatwed an inmortal character it took me a while to finish it because there are lots of hostile npc's there and they just keep coming, while in the meanwhile the turrets keep shooting.

Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tatctics are great games. IMO the best out there. 2 was my favorite by far. I went sniper all the way, I completed it solo, no NPC helpers. After I did all the quests except going to the final area I went back and waxed everyone and everything. I didn't have to worry about ammo because bounty hunters came after me (alot) and I could kill them in 1-2 shots with a gauss rifle. They are really quite nasty, but once you are a high enough level you can take hits from the minigun, a gauss pistol, plasma gernades, and the plasma gun (their weapons of choice). I loved the damage inflicted by the Bozar (a must have weapon, you'll have to pickpocket a guard guarding an merchant in one of the major towns, can't remeber which but hes the one outside town). The targeting of appendages is awesome. The cut scenes at the end are great too, all dependant on the choices that you made. Its been a while since you originally posted this but I just love Fallout.

I've read that there is a new one coming to console games soon too. Damn those designers, I want another on the PC.

I found this weapon in a locker in the toxic caves. After using the elevator and killing the robot there. And i could buy it from Eldier(??) in New Reno after i was mademan of the Wright family.

Yeah he's the one. It's been a few years since I played so I don't remember all of the specifics. Sounds like you've finished it or are close. Hope you enjoyed it.

As I remember and pls. correct me if I am wrong, there are 2 ways to get that armor - 1 in Navarro, one is in mines (2nd or third floor) - To get into the mine you had to blow an entrance from rocks by attaching dynamite to small coal-wagon. You had to go past those muties. I tried hundreds of times, but they used flamethrowers doing around 300 dmg (I had around 100 hp <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> ) So, not the easiest way to get it.

If the weapons depot is too hard try again later when you have better weapons. Once you travel to the enclave there's better armor there too...just be careful when changing clothes.

I finaly finished the game. Man the end fight was easy. MAybe because i used those turrets there. One did critical hit of about 400hp <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> . Me and my mates did the rest.

You can already get a sexual reputation so why not, isn't that as skill too? I collected condoms throughout the game....just in case. I must say the reward when you lose the arm wrestling match is quite funny too, nice blowup doll!

Maybe when you have 'doms you dont get diseased when you take the job as a fluffer or something?

The end fight against corrigan may not be tough but fighting your way down to the president sure is. Out of my whole party I was the only one who lived to the end.
