My guess is that new skills and difficulty levels will be out by the end of 2014. They've been emphasizing those and there's enough time (2 months) to implement them.
I do hope that there are new skills for every ability, and not just for dual wielding. There aren't enough optimal skills per school. I'm not saying every skill should be balanced, but that weaker skills are fine as long as there is in addition a wider selection of 'good'/balanced skills.

Huh. That's rather interesting as Larian has been focusing on adding rather than fixing so far. But I do think they are adding the right things... in a way, adding skills can add more balance to existing abilities. If those skills are balanced though, lol.
