Hi i just wanted to ask if any Modder could make a patch for WASD Movement?

I know its a slow pace rpg which is great but i really struggle with holding the click and using the mouse, my mouse is wireless so isn't as responsive, i have read a lot of people would like this too.

Anyone out there who could make a mod to support it?
Thanx All smile

I agree, it would be great having movement controllable via the keyboard.
My mouse is fine, but it's still tiresome dragging it ahead of the characters all the time.

Agree. Holding the mouse button is tiring.

You could set camera controls to wasd, maybe that will be less straining on your mouse hand ;d
As for controlling character movement with wasd, i have no clue.

What you can easly do is attached a key to the left click of the mouse.
So when you press for example "z", the game simulate a left click.
When you release "z", the game stop simulating left click.

This way you don't have to click anymore, you can just drag the mouse to direction where you want to move.

There is the same feature for moving on Diablo 3 for example.

Hello all
(Who can't easily hold down the left button so long),

Look into the windows "Click Lock" feature. It is a feature that will hold down the left mouse button for you at will (virtually).

If you have Windows 7 or 8:
Right click on your desktop. Click on "Personalize", "Change mouse pointers". Select the "Buttons" tab and at the bottom of the dialog box check "Turn on ClickLock". Click on Apply and Ok. This will work throughout all Windows programs.

An in-game version of clicklock might be a great (patch) addition for the developers as an alternative to, or addition to, WASD movement. It would work like this:
Add a key that, when pressed, will be toggle "automove". Automove would be the programmatic equivalent of telling the game that the left mouse button is being held down... until whenever automove is turned off.

PS, one more vote for WASD... without key movement, I cannot map game controls to a gamepad with "joytokey".

Autohotkey can map mouse button functions to a key.

The last kickstarter update video briefly showed people working on gamepad support. There was still a lot of stuff to be done and UI to be adjusted, but it sounded like the basics were working.
