Hey, while I really enjoyed Original Sin, I felt that the outcome of any encounter was mainly determined by your char level. If a fight was too hard you could just return some levels later and win it easily even without spending a single skill point or changing your equipment. (A nasty side effect was that because of that there was something like an invisible trial-and-error trail you had to follow to make it through the game.)
I'd ask you to give pure character level a lesser impact on the fight's outcome in favor of the character development and skilling. I don't want to fail a fight because my level is too low but because my set up is not right. I want to have the feeling that my actual build matters.
Regardless, I've just backed your new project and I'm sure I won't regret it. ;)
