Hello I have the fire wand bug, like some others in this thread. I play on PS4, the only wands I can loot/buy are fire wands, I also only can loot/buy earth staves, my only way to get another element is crafting. On every playthrough I encounter the same issue. It is really really annoying and takes some fun out of the game. Thanks for taking time to read and sorry for my English.

Same problem here, PS4 EU Digital btw.

Most of my PS4 friends have the fire wand bug, but my friend from Australia doesn't have the earth staff bug, just fire wands. Any tips on how to resolve this Larian? I have reinstalled the game and tried a new save but the problem persists.

- I combine stardust and bone dust to create fairy dust. But the recipe book says stardust + moon dust, so I cannot use the recipe and must do it manually.
Also, stardust herb and bones and fairy dust stack, while stardust and bone dust do not stack. Stacking is very inconsistant in general. I wish all items of the same type would stack. That will make it much easier to find things in the inventory.

- Research equipment (I play in german, so I do not know how it is called, but you can loot some labs) has the same (wrong) inventory icon as the globe I posted before (a set of mugs).

Just adding my voice to this issue. I've had the exact same experience as fraq; the "locked" message goes away with the key, but the switch does naught.

I finished a quest with Bairdotr and gained 180XP.
8000 (starting) XP + 180 (Quest) XP = 8180XP

After that, I exchanged Bairdotr with Wolgraff.
Wolgraff gained only 10XP. 8000 (starting) XP + 10 (AutoLevel) XP = 8010XP

Is it a bug?
How do companions auto level?

I just created a thread about this, regarding the xbox version:

I just found one major thing on xbox. When in battle, especially ranged battles, I cant see the damage done to enemies, nor the attack animations. The top screen icons, which show who will attack next, get in the way and the damage shows right behind those icons. The camera should zoom out more when an ranged attack to a distant enemy is happening. Or maybe the icons should be on the right side of the screen."

PC version bugs/issues so far :

  • - corrupt save file in Silverglen after rescuing Alfie which renders the game unplayable (crashes to desktop at loading) -> REALLY THIS IS STILL IN? Sorry, Larian, but that's not acceptable, after all these months since the original release!
  • - multiple AI freezes (enemies just don't act at all until their timer runs out, e.g. frost wolves in Hibernheim)
  • - "Blind" effect doesn't work at all (enemies and own chars can still target everyone as they like)
  • - key for lever in Hibernheim dungeon doesn't work to unlock the lever
  • - teleporter pyramids quests stay ative in journal and shows no progress after the initial entry even if you found the second one and picked it up
  • - Sam's collar stay in inventory although the quest is finished and Sam visually wears the collar himself
  • - quest items for finished quests stays generally in the inventory, can't be dropped and litter up the inventory over time (e.g. bloody dagger, smelly boots, etc)
  • - Steam cloud saves take extremely long to upload, prevents game from being restartedagain shortly after closing it (>30 seconds)
  • - some containers still suggest that you haven't looted them yet by not turning the indicator to grey even if they are empty

Hi, playing on PS4.

Found a bug where I ended up stuck in endless combat. It's the Bairdotr fight. She chose to rejoin that jerk, but during the battle, she kept teleporting around. Eventually she teleported off the map into an area of total darkness.

She not only stopped fighting (she just passed on every turn) but now that all her friends are dead, I am stuck in combat with no way to get out. Bairdotr is just stranded out in the darkness. Not sure what all the teleporting was - it was a spell effect with a green glow. Not sure who was doing it - if it was her or her friend. She doesn't have such a skill, as far as I can tell.

Note: I passed on my other party members turns seven or eight times, and she just refuses to re-engage in combat with me.

Please,

provide a hotfix for the "container not visited" -issue!

You know fully well how many bodies/containers/etc... there are in the game.
Unless there is someone with perfect memeroy, it is just impossible to remember what containers have been visited, since the game is very long, and some of us may spend weeks on just one game!!

Playing 2.0.99.676 on PC and see weird bug in the tunnel from graveyard. After the fight with Skeletal Scorcher my character was set on fire with his explosion and that fire didn't go away when I came neck deep into a nearby water stream. He burned to death standing in the water ;(

I am missing the D:OS EE Xbox One dlc I was supposed to receive for preordering. Grumio's trick bag and forgotten bags are in my add-ons, but I've gotten nothing but an empty backpack. Am I the only one missing this?

HI everyone! i noticed that, i'm playing DOS EE in italian so that issue may be only in italian language setting.
Btw when i talked to Selenia,in Cyseal, she gave me quests about legionaries duty but in the quest log look like Aureus was giving you the quests instead of Selenia.
it's just a minor mistake but i appreciate the DOS series and any improvement would be great for this game

On PC, I got in a state where I attempted to talk to an NPC, but their dialog option was completely blank, and I had to go back to a previous save and lost progress because I couldn't get my character to exit the dialog screen.

Repro steps (roughly):
1) Be in Cyseal doing the murder investigation of the councilor
2) Have your main character talk to Captain Aurelus but don't finish dialog
3) Have a secondary character grab the Key or Journal, which should trigger guards to come
4) Have your main character quit the dialog option
5) Have every character flee
6) Go back to Captain Aurelus office, and two guard NPC's which were previously in the fight should still be in his office
7) With your main character, attempt to talk to one of the guard NPC's

Expected: Dialog options from guard and method to quit, or be unable to speak to the NPC's at all
Actual: Able to interact with the guards, but the dialog page is completely blank with no way to back your character out of the dialog menu

If it matters, I had a party of 3. Two main characters and then the character in the cage outside the Captain's office (Bairatodr or something like that).

All of the quest npcs are hostile towards 1 of my main characters. Even npcs I run into for the very first time. They attack him on sight. Fleeing from the fight does not fix it. My other character IS able to talk to them and start/complete quests though. Not all npcs are hostile on sight though. I am able to talk to vendor npcs and trade and such. This isn't game breaking for me(yet), but it is a huge annoyance. I can't have the character around any quest npc until the quest is complete and/or the npc leaves. If theres a battle involved with the npc, I have to have my character flee battle before the end. In some instances I can't go in certain areas in towns since it will start a battle and everyone around will join the fight.

Find the Witch! quest is giving me some trouble. For some reason the last stone door to Almina refuses to budge. I have dug up the key but nothing happens. At first I thought it had something to do with me going outside of the cave before going to Almina, but i just loaded to a save before going through the lake and i still can't get the lever to work. I read from a walkthrough that a fight is supposed to occur when activating the switch, but they don't spawn for me.

- I cast the regenerate spell on one of my chars, but the effect was not shown as symbol next to her portrait. She was healed as it should be and other effects (such as leadership) were shown next to her portrait. This was only with one char. The other 3 chars had the regenerate icon when I cast the spell on them.

@LordCrash:
I play on PC.
- While quest items and keys stay in my inventory after I need them, I can put them in any container to get rid of them.
- While blind does not hinder the enemy, I have the feeling that it gives you a 100% hit chance against blind enemies (I am not absolutely sure about this.). You are right that blind does not work as intended.
- I think I could finish the quest with the teleporter pyramids normally.

The skill "Tectonic Spray" cannot be created into a skill book.

Tried combining a Tectonic Spray scroll with a blank earth skill book and got invalid combination.

I tried grabbing a Ice Wall scroll and a blank water book and combining them, and that worked.
Crafting is at level 5.

Hello, i'm encountering a bug that won't let me load my save. i can't continue playing after 30 hours of gameplay (29:56 to be precise).
I'm on PS4 and everytime i try to load the game crash with this code (CE-34878-0) divinity : original sin enhanced edition.

i made sure to update the console and the game to the lastest versions but i still can't play. Also i just bought the console to play the game i have nothing else on it everything is new.

I found out that i can play a new game from the beginning and from an anterior save(28:28). the problem seems to appear after a certain point which is the quest in luculla when i escort the smith in the forest. I recall having a +120 (or +140) approbation but only showing 100 when doing the trades.
I have exactly three saves after fully succeding this quest and those aren't loadable, a quicksave(29:10) after trading with the smith, an autosave(29:32) and the manual last save (29:59).
I did nothing but this quest between 28:28 and 29:10, using the blood stone i had to heal the beast and winning the ambush in the forest.
I don't know if all those informations can help you.

I'm going to avoid this quest for now and hope for the best, i was lucky because my party died on a trap in the forest so i had to load and see there was a problemee. I'm afraid now to lose hours of gameplay, i probably should create new save everytime now and save often.

Having problems with save games on Xbox1. Sometimes when I save, it doesnt complete and all I get is the spinning save wheel in the corner of the screen. I can continue to play but most other commands like save, load or exit to main menu are greyed out. The only way to get rid of the wheel is to unplug the console and restart.
Any ideas?
