I found where another user posted a fix for this problem, but that was five years ago, and I don't know that it would apply to my newer system.

Specs are:

Windows 8.1
Intel Core i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40GHz
RAM 12.0 GB
64 bit Operating System, x64-based processor

I will say right now I'm not super computer savvy, so reading some of the stuff on these boards (okay, most of it) is way over my head.

Gameplay went fine all day today. There were times where if I left my character sitting for a while (5 minutes or more, not paused), starting back up would be a bit choppy, so I'd close and restart the game.

By this evening, the game got super choppy and had what sounds like crackling or static all throughout, and any speech by characters had a sort of "echo" going on, and cursor movement to prompt characters' speech was very unresponsive or delayed.

My computer more than surpasses the minimum requirements, and this has happened a couple times (only to be cleared up when I get back online the next day). I'm unsure if it's a system issue or a Larian one. Ideas? Thanks.

What was the fix that you found?
