Is this : https://www.gog.com/goghero GoG exclusive?
If so, how will this work in co-op play between GoG and Steam?

As far as I understood it, it will just be a NPC in the game.

It should be available in every version. As well as Twitter created cheese vendor.

I don't think it is GOG exclusive. GOG were just awesome and contributed a lot to the Kickstarter, and got the 'make an NPC' reward level. The NPC should be in the game for everyone

GOG is owned by CD Projeckt Red, so it's really cool that the Witcher 3 people supported DOS2. Now if only the NPC had been voiced by Doug Cockle. :P

Considering the NPC is female, that'd be really weird indeed.

Hahahaha. To be fair, it's a skeleton. I have no idea how it even has a bosom.

Oh God, that reminds me, my gf was watching some psychotic tv programme a few months back with her playing the lead role. It did my head in.

It was Paula, for the record: I don't recommend it.

Kind of off-topic, but who was the other party that pledged $10.000 on the kickstarter?

The proper way to write that would be $10,000

with a dot instead of a comma, you literally just said ten dollars.

Anyway, I don't think we can know who that was.

It varies depending on one's locale. A lot of e.g. European countries use dots for number grouping and commas for decimal points. Can't say I'm a fan of doing it that way round but that's the way it is...

More people in the world use 10.000,00 than 10,000.00. Including Belgium, the home office of Larian. The General Conference on Weights and Measures officially recognizes both, and a third option 10 000 00

Speaking of Yennefer, ... I wonder what would be a Geralt de riv spec in DOS2, ... Lone wolf for sure.
He would have points in all skills ...

Lone Wolf, Warfare, Two Handed.
Then Scoundrel and several elemental skills at 1.
Good mix of Strength, Finesse, and Wits.

I'd pass on finesse for constitution. It would not add much in DOS2 especially if they removed the dodge bonus from finesse.

Geralt moved so fast that people could barely see him as more than a blur, and was an accomplished fighter with two daggers. Choosing constitution over finesse would definitely be more optimized, but considerably less Geralt. :P

It's true he was tough enough to survive the extended experimentation after the Trial of Grasses. He's definitely superhuman in most categories, but it's hard to imagine a really slow Geralt. Even the games don't come close to how fast Geralt is in the books. :P

The GOG community quite unhappy about the result (link) smirk It would be awesome if Larian would listen to the feedback and would make changes to the character accordingly, so she's closer to the original concept. (even if on a later date)
