I saw the guide of making custom portraits, that you have to set a custom camera and stuff, but, does that generate an image? If yes, Does that mean that we could set custom png portraits? I mean external images or painted ones, because I would like very much to do that if it's possible.

Hi there Noctro,

the portrait renderer first saves portraits as a png in "Data\Editor\Temp\IconGenerator" and then combines them all together in a .dds (TextureAtlas) which is saved in "Data\Public\{ProjectName}\Assets\Textures\Icons"

So...that means if i place the png pictures i want as portraits manually in that folder i could use them as custom ones?

I misunderstood your question. To use custom icons as portraits, you need to convert them to a dds, add them to a textureatlas and use that as the "Icon" property on the character's (root) template.
