I'm playing on PC and I can't manage to make local coop happen smirk
Ideally I'd like to play locally with the mouse on one side and a controller on the other.

Is it possible? If not how to make local coop happen?

Thanks!

I would post a link to handy guide on how to setup local co-op, but my account was just created and still in revision, so I can't really post links without raising some alarms... In any case, something along the lines of "dos2 split screen" on your search engine should give you good results :D

As far as I'm aware, the only way to do proper split screen is through the use of 2 controllers, since split screen requires a different interface... I'm interested in knowing if that's not the only option though!

Like in DOSEE, local co-op requires two controllers. There is no other way.

You can do it. However it can only be done with a 3rd party program to emulate a controller via keyboard/mouse.

That way the game thinks you are playing with 2 controllers.

If you have multiple computers on a LAN and you're using Steam, you should be able to use family sharing to spread one copy of the game to all of them; however, only one computer can be online on Steam at a time with that game.
