Is there an easy way to add a script to the players without overriding any scripts?

I would rather not override Player.charScript or Base.charScript since I'm sure tons of mods already do this which would cause conflicts.

No, that is not possible, unless you create a mod that is independent of the main campaign (in which case you can assign any scripts to the player characters that you make available in your mod).

That is unfortunate. With so many mods out there overriding the player.charScript it's going to create a mess of conflicts...

This is probably why there is huge emphasis on story scripts instead of character scripts.
