So, minute ago I uninstaled the game, deleted my save files and so on. But acctualy i didnt finishe the hole game i ve only killed all the 5 bosse in the end but didnt kill the Janus\Demon. Because i t was just too boring. I really didnt have moode to finish of all the boses that I ve deefated before, I think it is bad ending,

The beggining was really cool, assasins guilds, wariors, tiefs vampire freelancing an so on, but the wastlands which could be called "RUN SMASH SMASH SMASH AND KILL THE BIG BAD THING" where realy bad.

So near the 5th boss, (not the demon) I decided that this is worthless and very very boring because nothing could kill me, yeah some little damage, and i had to sometimes to drink a potion and restore shields... thats all

I had a warrior who in the last dungeon was like in godmode, Using Spell shield and magic shield spells, i was a bit more invincible,

armor 250
damage about 190 per hit\ reocupation 0

Polymorf is cool - i had a thingi which gave me lvl one of this spell and quite most of bosses can be transformed into rabbit or from... and killed after.

Restoration lvl 5 - very usefull

The hole game I used bed once, just for fun. In last dungeon i had 70 potions from each healing type p, and 50 greater mana.

stealth - also helped when was needed (Orc Train supply quest),

lockpicking 5 - rulezz

Charming - ... nothing special, boring...

So mainly - Start - PERFECT
Continue - PERFECT
Graphics - (for this type of game) PERFECT
Music - PERFECT
Game play - PERFECT
ENDING - SUUUUUUUUXXXXXXXX, very very much.

Yes, that has often beenm a point of criticism (right word ?).

Lar once pointed out that they'll never do such a boring part of a game (Wastelands) again.

I usually view the Wastelands as the tedious bit that has to be endured at the end of what is, otherwise, a superb game.

For some reason, no one ever mentions Polymorph, and it's a great boss killer.
The only drawback is having to chase the frog for 20 minutes, but aside from that, it's effectively an instant kill. Poly and Summon Vermin are overlooked a lot, I think.

Yep, the beginning and ending make you want to put a gun in your frickin' mouth. But, I still feel like I got a lot of great gaming time. Overall, DD is excellent.

... so I stripped down to nothing but a Super Big Gulp cup and rubberband, and ran up the street screaming "Swing me, gringo!"

I hear ya. What really chapped me is that I hadn't finished all of the quests before ringing that damn gong. Then I thought I would be able to go back at some point to finish up, but now I see a can't. I wish Zandalor would have said something like, "you will not be able to return after summoning the council" or something like that to give you a hint that you were at the point of no return. I guess I'll just play the game again, and as soon as I get to the wastelands... well, it's over. Too boring.

The main thing that annoyed me about the westlands was that I found I could kill everything and barely got hurt at all. Also that I was finding so much stuff with nowhere that I could sell it all to buy new goods. I thought that I would eventually find somewhere to off load it all so I continually headed back to where the wizard was and stored it all. I ended up with a huge pile of absoluetely useless goods with nothing to do with them

Anyway I hope in any future DD games they will make an ending that requires great skill and hardship. I died more times in the first 25% of the game than I did in the last 75% which should have been the other way around.....but it was still fun and at least it didn't drag on to the point of being boring.

I am not completely stupid lol. I know the orc could buy goods but he barely had enough money to buy some of the items i found and didnt sell me anything better that what i already had which defeated the purpose of having all of those wonderful items to sell.

Sorry didnt mean to offend you. I was just wandering. Like you told it, it was just like you didnt find anyone to sell to. Sorry

Don't worry please. I don't offend easily. It just had the same problem as some other games I have played like DS which left you with copious amounts of goods at the end which you can't really do anything with. It is just one of those things that seems pointless to me.

Please smile again. I don't like to see people unhappy

But i agree with you. Habing alot of stuff in the end and you cant do anything with it. It is kind of useless.

Yeah, I sold everything to Kroxy and when he run out of money I purchased charms (even if I didn't need them), as they don't have any weight. Good investment, but apparently worthless, cause you don't need so much money at the end, as there is nothing to buy.
