In my previous games you could teleport him with the party to a waypoint to get him out of town but now he stays in the factory. I had the same problem with Saheila too and had to restart. Please can anyone help?

Thanks,
LS.

We couldn't teleport out with Saheila either. However, we just left her in the building, teleported out, killed every lone wolf outside and then led her home. This worked fine. So I assume this would work with Higba as well. Kill any magisters you might encounter on the way then lead him out. Nether swapping him with one of your characters should work too.

It seems the devs "fixed" that cheesy way of doing it with Higba. Right now is a pain in the ass to move him to safety without killing anyone, but I did it after 10 or so retries.

I had a kind of weird saheila encounter

we left her up there in that room after killing off her captors, figuring we'd clear out the rest of the camp, but first we teleported away to shop, etc.
I decided to check out that tree at stonegarden, and when I got sucked down into the encounter room saheila was there with me.
luckily, they ignored her, and after I killed them she gave me this dialogue about some ordeal being over + time to move on or w/e, then disappeared.

I assume she's at a spot I won't spoil.

with higba, there's a certain encounter adjacent to the fish place that you can get a couple magisters involved in which will prob kill them to clear out that side

Hey.

I have started another playthrough and this time I made up a cheesy way of doing the Higba quest (that is, escorting him out to safety).

Warning: SPOILERS BELOW...

Ignore Higba for now and go west to Reaper bluffs (or whatever is called). This is the spot where a fisherman is looking for a missing source ring. I positioned three of my party members in the platform north (which can be accessed east via a ladder) and the remaining party member went to pick up the ring. The first thing I did was teleport the big voidwoken east, where magister Varland is, then... all hell broke loose. If magisters are feeling too strong, you can teleport some of the voidwoken frogs there too, but be careful because the voidwoken may end up killing a lot of people inside Driftwood fishworks. After that, just escort Higba east to where the fisherman is and mission accomplished.
