Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems Unable to progress past chapter 2.

I have completed all quests in chapter 2, including personal quest for companions.

Red prince has done the nasty and killed the guards,
Fane has been to the pits and learned of his past,
Lohse has learned for Johan and he is on the boat,
Beast has learned of the deathfog.
Malady is on board the ship but only gives the option to wait for more people
I have completed all of tarquins quest he is on board,
I have completed Gareths quest, but he is not on board. I have literally looked everywhere for him, hes vanished.
I have completed the fletcher, and he is on board,
The little girl is on board and all quests have been done at bloodmoon
Almina or what ever her name is on board with her boyfriend, I have killed the demon in the northeast.
I have gotten 3 source points and done the ritual.

Please help.

What did you say to Gareth?

Also: do you know the location of the Nameless Isle?

I offered to kill Jonathan for him, did so, then returned the ring as proof.

I do know the isle location, I have completed all of the quests at bloodmoon isle.

I know there used to be a bug where Gareth wouldn't show and there would be no option to sail forth but this was reported to be fixed in one of the patches since.

You don't essentially need Gareth on the ship for the quest to continue. I believe he's also scripted to appear later on no matter what.

If Malady has no dialog option to move have you tried talking to the ship?

Yeah, the ship tells me to talk to Malady. I gave up and started over, then used the cheat mod to catch myself up. Second time around I was able to proceed.
