- If weak and strong NPCs are removed, then there are no parameter to compare your party level. Some NPC's will be far more weaker and some far more stronger than you
- Trash mobs exist for a reason. Not every mob is an legendary ancient draco lich.
- That is an good feature of D&D, if you are fighting an fire elemental, an spell that increases your fire resistance OBVIOUSLY will help you. Against enemies that can cast Wail of the Banshee, death effects immunity can help a lot.
- What is the problem? Impossible fights exist on RPG by a reason. You can't and should't kill everything that has stats. On M&M VII, there are an dragon on starting emerald island, you don't fight then. You pick the quest item and run. Modern RPG's aren't teaching you right.
- Missing is a important part. If you have an kitchen knife and your enemy plate armor, you will need a lot of lucky to deal any damage on him. That makes perfectly sense.
- Cheesy tactics should exist like on other games
- The weather should worry you. It makes sense.
- Trying to make the game more balanced will make the game much more homogenized.
- Magical gear should be rarer and this is an role playing game, not an gear playing game like diablo 3.
- Swords are fragile. That makes sense. No more indestructible light sabers that can cut plate like it was paper and require no maintance.

Sorry, but being very honest, looks like you wanan dos3 instead of bg3 BG3 should be like BG2/1.
