I've generated now 4 blessed long swords. Damage is either 60 or 70 max. Thus, other properties become important in choosing. What is most important?
What does Speed refer to: how fast you can swing it or bring it back into action after a thrust? Recuperation time: 0 I think would be important. Durability should be important?

Since melee damage is low, importance might be like stun, different magical damage, etc.

Thoughts/Suggestions?

The maximum damage for the holy sword is 71-100; you might want to re-load a few more times, or try again at a higher character level. You may have done this, but if you quick save after the sacrifice, but before hitting alt or identifying the sword, you can quick load repeatedly to try to get the best sword.

Speed reduces the recuperation time, but you can not get below zero, so a high level of Sword Expertise makes this irrelevant.

If you have at least level 1 in Repair, durability is not critical, though a low value would necessitate more frequent repairs.

Stun is good; magical damage is good if you can get it, but I never looked for that specifically. A high Charm Quality could be good, and I wouldn't turn down a nice stat/health/mana bonus.

Several things I forgot to mention that affect my decision:
My skill level is up to 31
My stats are excellent
I also have the Dragon Shield which adds to stats
Armor is 237
I sword training is I believe next to the highest. I didn't think the highest gave me enough to waste the skill point.
I've already got an excellent ring and belt that have good stats and give me 4-5 charms.
I've already enchanted to level two on fire damage

I did generate another with 80 damage plus frost, life drain, poison damage and stun. I'm leaning towards this sword.

I may generate two more to get higher damage. My problem is that it takes time because I have only +1 identify. So I have to go somewhere each time to get the new sword identified.

Your comments are appreciated.

I would go with the sword that has 80 Damage, which u mentioned. WIth the Sword of Gods, u can't go over 71-100 Damage, that I have seen. My sword which is a god sword, does 71-100 plus has Frost(5), Mana Drain (3) and other goodies, but only has 1 Charm (Oh well).

So I would go with the sword that u have and enjoy beating every enemy in the rest of the game, basically except of course the bosses, need a few more hits to finish them off (DOH!).

I think the royal sword u are talking about is found at the smith in Ars Magician(SP), if I am correct. That sword is quite good, but its a two handed sword, me thinks.

you can "steal" it from the bottom right merchant in the merchant town by placing yourself within view of the outside of the store. Grabbing the sword with you icon and dragging it to the outside. once the sword is outside, you can pick it up with out being charged with larceny. Useful trick with all places with a view of the outside.
