Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Rogue Inquisitive Archetype

Are more rogue archetypes and subclasses are intended to make it into the game? The Inquisitive and Swashbuckler from Xanathar's Guide to Everything are integral for the characters I love to play in 5e. The 3 basic ones from the player's handbook aren't nearly as fun in the games I've played. Obviously subjective, but it's number one on my wish list for game features I haven't seen yet. I love all the changes shown in the latest gameplay.

That would be neat. I have an idea for an former Watch Officer Rogue, and that archtype looks to suit them a little better than Arcane Trickster, which is what I was otherwise going to use.
