Will we be able to use our Save Files from Early Access for the Full Game Release?

No.

The game will go through many changes in Early Access, including hte time between the final Early Access update and the release of the full game. Saves are made incompatible between updates in Early Access to specifically avoid bugs fixed in an update to be reported in the next update.

You usually do not be able to use your save games not even when a new patch comes in EA.

Too many hypothesis here.

Saves are not always affected by updates, whether it be Early Access or not.
Sometimes they can.
The probability during Early Access is higher that a past save can no longer work, but we cannot predict or know in advance.

Probably best to expect not, and be positively surprised if you do.

I hope you can still save characters just like BG1/2. That way if I roll an amazing character in EA I can import it to the full game.

We can make educated guesses based on the two RPGs Larian has already taken through Early Access. They deliberately break saves between major updates in early access to ensure that bugs from version A which get patched in Version B don't get incorrectly re-reported from people using save files created under version A in version B. That's one reason.

So remember to disable automatic updates when it becomes too annoying!

But if you do, don't report bugs 🙈

ok, thanks for the info. So lets hope we can at least save seperate Character Files, as it was possible in Infinity Games originally and that their Stats can be imported into the Full Game
