Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems File system error

Everytime the game tries to save it crashes to desktop.
It says: "File system error" and is trying to save in a path that doesn't exist.
This makes the game unplayable.
Is there any way to set the save path myself? Thanks.

Edit: I bought the game on GOG, linking my GOG account did not solve anything.

Same issue can't start the game now I get a file system error it is trying to load my profile or save that isn't there.

I have also the same issue. Trying to create the folder in users directory does not fix the issue

I have the Steam version
