Second wind ability causes casting character to become frozen. Second wind icon continues to pulse while all other icons are greyed out.
Tried fast travel, short rest, and long rest but the the character is still frozen.

My experience so far...

I noticed that while I get a nat 20, sometimes the game drops fps insanely, to the point where I need to force close it and reload. Running settings on Ultra with a 2070 super.

Sometimes killing enemies causes their body to rubber band around.

The standard light armor has disadvantage on stealth checks? Seems odd when the rogue comes with armor that gives him disadvantage LOL

Occasionally the camera gets stuck and goes around in a circle. This happens when I hold alt and am moving the camera with my q and e bindings

Playing Multiplayer, constantly seeing my teammate is in dialogue then occasionally getting a bug where they can't do anything because the bottom 4 buttons of the dialogue UI are the only options.

Mindflayer tendrils, Tiefling tails, Dragon and Demon wings all seem to have a mind of their own.

During dialogue sometimes characters shake a bit.

After choosing the warlock ability devil vision option, my character was not gaining any of the bonuses.

EggBearer buff/debuff not working as intended. I suppose when you steal the egg from the owlbear cave, you get that debuff in order to lure the owlbear. Instead, I got that buff/debuff once, then loaded the game and never got it back, no matter how many times I tried stealingg the egg, and sometimes the buff appeared out of nowhere when I started a fight with the owlbear.

At the end of the Druid's grove questline, Halsin says to celebrate and return in the morning. When I go to camp to advance time nothing happens as Halsin says the same thing.

Also, Zevlor asks if I am ready to go and I say yes, but nothing occurs (even after going to camp).

So I can't complete Saving the Refugees nor Save the Druid Halsin.

I've got a bug where my PC deals damage when passing through other party members and NPCs. Seems to be about d6 (maybe d4) worth of damage, and happens in camp and in the world. Most recent occurrence happened when passing by the children training in the grove, so I was sent to jail hah!

I've noticed that when playing and getting to specific points my game says it is autosaving and I found out later that it had not been autosaving, instead my last autosave was before leaving the intro scene before reaching the Helm. I had been playing a good three hours of gameplay beforehand and had to reload from pre-Helm. Teaches me to save my games from now on myself.

Just one bug for me. Multiplayer game, host's game crashes whenever the mind flayer appears on the helm. Thankfully it's so early in the game, so we are just going to try to restart.

Minthara can't be killed if engaged in combat outside the gate during the goblin raid on the grove

Zevron is dead due to Druid fight and the NPC that takes his place isn't triggering the party event, thus Druid Halsin isn't progressing to his next bit. Those three quests (Helping the Refuges, Goblin Camp, and Druid Circle) are not able to progress to completion.

A couple bugs i found today:

- The Myconid ally you can recruit in the underdark will perform attacks of oppertunity on the player party

- Zombies spawned by the myconid ally will also perform attacks of oppertunity on the player party

- Perhaps due to this, the player gets caught in permanent turn based mode after the battle with the Duergar in the underdark.

- Throwing something at the gem held by the Selüne-statue in the underdark makes the gem vanish.

- Grease can make players or npcs permafrozen until end of battle, unable to take any action. A minotaur in grease was frozen like this for 10+ turns and never acted.

Sometimes killed enemies start to shudder and twist and become like 50m large (inside), or get 50m large and fly away.


In the options (game-settings) some buttons are in the middle of the selection (german version, maybe an issue with word lengths).


When leaving the secret necromancer lab to the room next (where you get back to the main cellar with the lever to open the wall) becomes partially invisible, as well as the characters.


Nettie has some issues with her character model during the sequence of curing the bird.


The old woman in the druid cove did really strange things with her hands during conversation, looked like the animation wasn't readily programmed.


When trying to pick up the book of Thay the whole dialog sequence immediately repeated.


After picking up the book I got all characters out of the room save (using this combat round mode), but when I switched back to normal, the whole group immediately ran back into the room to get a free fire trap attack. wink


When saving the girl in the druid cove from the attack of the gnoll after the first gialogue (where she gave me that sould gem), the dialogue immediately reappeared the same way, only that this time she was pissed in the end that someone had stolen her soul gem.


When changing the trader to the lower left, the equipment comparison still refers to the person who initiated the trade, not the selected trader.

not sure if someone already mentioned it. I had an issue that i could not end my turn in battle. i had to reload the game. by the way, this was the first bigger issue after nearly 5-6 houers slow playthrough.

The bugs I've run into are all listed here except that when I attacked the hag Auntie Ethel and she fled, I went to the end of the cavern and found Mayrina Ethel never appeared. I hit the control orb to lower her and got her out but dialogue won't activate on her either.

I don't think this is a bug, plz larian person correct me if I'm wrong.

If you play several characters you'll notice that the difficulty is different nearly every time. For instance Us's first perception roll has ranged for me from 7 to 12 depending on my stats, and my profiencies. From this I've gathered your + and - are in what you need to beat not your roll itself. So if your perpetion is +5 and the original difficulty of the roll is 15 it shows a difficulty of 10.

Bugs in appearance overall
Versatile weapons appear to be only useable in both hand. (unsure if its me missing some button) they do appear to work with shield, but not dual wield. (not thoroughly tested dual wield)


Bugs on the Ship!

cg dragon at final cutscenes flame looks more like it's hurling a stream of puss then actual flames.
Us previous Host go flying when I remove Us from his head. Also glitches elongating, are hovering in air. Side not this happens in other instances throughout game.
if you break the treasure chest the items go flying and don't show up when you alt. (unsure if intentional or not, or related to above bug.) the same has happened with other containers.
A rare glitch causes random things to seeming be immune to damage. though if they take another hit the damage shows up at times.
Explodetion of barrels in some instances cause the AI to take no damage instead of half damage.
CG female. If you push the button in room with cleric the cg starts shows you walking to investigate, after cutscene your still by the button. (unsure if intentional or not)

Bug in CG

Shadowheart = At end of her first meeting cutscene duplicates herself.
Al has his dagger glued to his hand in cutscene of his first meet.
Odd smirk for no reason your characters face in some cg's. Kinda creepy.

Bug Battle
If you get the halfings crew to run, the battle starts when the archer goes within range of La'Ezal???

Made a thread about it and send an email to support, but gonna write here too just in case.
Can't level up from level 3 to 4 with my light domain cleric of Tyr, because all cantrips have disappeared, but the game won't let me click "accept" without choosing any cantrips. Stuck at level 3 now

Bug with incidental dialog with the Tiefling child Mirkon. After completing the quest to save him from the harpies and returning to the kids hideout inside the Druid Grove to talk to him, if the warlock in the party has a familiar summoned then Mirkon will start spamming messages like "Mol! We've got trouble!" and "You can't be here! This is our hideout!" several times a second until the familiar is moved away from their area (moving it out past the banner strung between two posts seems to be the boundary for where this bug occurs.

Warlock's Dark one's blessing doesn't seen to provide bonus hp sometimes. Not completely sure what causes it, making me wonder if it's a bug, or if I'm missing a mechanic.
Seems losing the hitpoints doesn't remove the buff, and a new buff doesn't overwrite the old one. Maybe comparing the buff's max HP instead of its current HP by accident?

I miss an attack, my weapon gives the target True Strike.
I attack again, she loses True Strike and I miss the attack again. The action log shows I didn't get advantage on the roll (This is the bug). No new True Strike is applied. Don't know if that part is a bug, or if you can't get true strike again in this situation.
After the fact I realize the 3rd miss got advantage on was because of high ground.

I attacked the 3 druids in the Druid's Cove after the cutscene where one turns into bear, and then causing a massive fight. Talking to Locke and Marricko after the fight will have them talk about the death of their daughter and Kagha. but I've never even set foot in that room, causing it to be a rather weird interaction just assuming things.

A small list of bugs I've come across playing Multiplayer with my friend. I know some of this is just because its early access, and some have probably been posted before already, merely posting to let the dev's know what people may come across:

-NPC's in combat take forever to end their turns sometimes

-Lip sync breaks often, leaving someone speaking without moving lips

-Camera position bugs out sometimes, sometimes even showing underneath the map while in conversation

-Partners HUD completely disappeared mid fight, resulting in him having to leave the session and join back to be able to do any actions

-Texture and terrain loading takes a very long time sometimes

-NPC's with no armor and weapons running into combat just to die in one hit. I know this isn't so much a bug as much as AI needs some work

-Character models T-pose when first loading in for an extended time

-And probably the most frustrating for us so far: manual saves wont work after a few minutes of playing the game. We can manually save for a bit, but after a bit we try and nothing happens. I'll save the game (new save, overwriting old save, all have same results) and I'll have the prompt, but after it should start the saving process, the screen never dims and we never get a message saying Save Successful. This gets particularly annoying as we're afraid of continuing and running into another bug without having a save function, and auto saves are spaced out a bit too far to rely on.

We are absolutely loving the game so far, but the saving issue is making us want to just wait for more hotfixes as we don't want to progress just to lose hours of work because the save feature won't work properly. We can't wait to see what the future holds for the game though. We plan to continue playing some more, so I will post more as we come across them

Okay so I'm technologically challenged can't take a screen shot.

In the Ruins after the halfling fight. Go to the room with the hidden button the side room to the left there is a desk with a row of books, above that is a second row of books that is lootable. Yet it says I can't reach it. If someone can screen shot it, for further aid I'd apprecaite it.

Noticed a small miss/possible placeholder.

When examining an object or npc, checking their resistances by mouse hovering over each damage type, the mouse tool tip states that the damage gets halved, no matter what the chart states. I. e. ´Bludging - resistant (damage gets halved). Piercing - vulnerable (damage gets halved), Acid - Immune (damage gets halved) etc
