Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks wont stop following me

i have aura of command up all the way and i ressurected the guardian of the cyclops and used aura of command on him and now whatever i do he wont stop following me and he wont attack anyone so they dont attack him, i use bannish on him and he doesn't die [thats up level 5 too] and then he cant be poisond and when i tell 5 more guys to follow me 4 of them will but when i click on the last guy one of them leaves but not the gurdian of the cyclops



P.S. he used to attack people but then he just quit.

Maybe You should try to kill him with poison cloud or meteorstrike.It will be a possibility that meteorstrike doesn't work but poison cloud should kill him.I was killing frendly creatures or people with this spell.They won't attack me but many uses of spell should kill him <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, use poisonous cloud, just don't target directly at him, because you won't be able to attack him, target a bit in front of him or behind him.

This is also how you can kill a lot of friendly NPCs, if they annoy you, without being blamed/attacked by guards. I killed Commander Kratus this way, after I solved Tutamun quest and before I stole magic lockpicks and Penumbra's dagger...it annoyed me when he caught me stealing. After killing him this way I could just walk in the station and pick up everything my heart desired... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

In Kratus house I've stealed what I need and then fast Use shadows.Ive walked out and succed quest with lockpicks.After taht I've came back and talk normally with kratus because I didnt have stolen items with me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

And have You talke with him earlier <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />.Because he is giving one quest to solve

Yes, as I've written above, I have already solved the Tutamun(vampire) quest before I killed him...oh, and this is also how you can kill Seth without any problems, he won't fight back! (That means a lot when you're just a level 10 and attacking a knight level 39!!!)

If you are warrior, you can use warrior's special move on that guardian.
Just stand next to him and use it.

And I think you can curse friendly creatures. So, curse him first to soften his resistances.

any time i try to attack him my charactor turns the other direction and shoots off that way and ive tried aiming near him with poisonous cloud but as i said he cant be poisoned <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" />

hmm. that is strange, maybe you can get other enemies to attack him, or just leave with a teleporter (or does he follow u still, haven't used aura of command yet, worried about THIS)!

yah he still follows me and enemies wont attack him.Hes like my shadow!!! nobody cares that hes there and he doesnt do anything

We apologize for this inconvenience.
The Aura of Command skill is bugged and didn't get solved with the latest patch.

Do you have a recent savegame? Reading your post, I fear you don't have one.
The only work-around for the Aura of Command bug is to re-load a save where it had not occurred yet.

If you don't have a recent savegame, or you don't want to re-start a while back into the game, you can use iZakaroN's SaveEditor - there you can remove the skill points you put in Aura of Command. But please, read that post very carefully.

Maybe if you used the save editor to drop the level of Aura of Command to 1, then cast it on a summoned creature, the cyclops guardian would get bumped out? After that, you could re-learn the other levels.

so? resurrected creatures under aura of command follow you also when you use the teleporters?

yep, all of them.
I once went to visit Kroxy, I was followed with an army of imps. And they all died shortly after teleportation. Maybe my Aura of Command was weak.
