Please teach the AI to ignore my downed combatants when others are able to attack and can lead me to victory.

I don't mind them attacking downed characters if the AI is for PARTIUCLARLY bloodthirty opponents (as a great way to show just how evil they are etc) but I agree it shouldn't be the norm

It depends on the opponents I guess. It's not always the case. But it makes sense that animals for instance would want to eat the corpse and keep on biting at it.

This. It seems so ridiculous that opponents would consistently go for the unconscious threats when you're busy shooting them in the face.

Especially as it makes it impossible to save an NPC in the druid camp...

because on one hand they have another pressing threath, like this big bad fighter actually hitting theyr hitpoints (but they still keep murdering downed wizards), on the other its a stress on resources and tactic to have someone always one step from permadeath and another party fellow spending all his slots, actions and turns to prevent that.
Its just unnecesseraly frustrating
