Variant human would allow so many cool builds since we could get a feat at level 1. Would be awesome if you could add it!

Lol I agree. It’s hilarious how human is both the best and worst race in 5E.

Thsy said that all races from the phb will be added so should be in the works.

My guess is that all the feats and their interactions need to be in thegame first before they can add it due to the feat that we get.

+1. A feat at first level always make the game fun....well if the feat actually work (Currently many of them dont, or dont work fully as intended.

This isn't a surprise, as currently many features and functions are not working. I was under the impression that feats would be added later.

Wouldn't the inclusion of "variant humans" make the basic version currently included almost completely redundant?
Correct me if I'm wrong but they aren't supposed to be a different species as far as I know, just an alternate ruleset to create human characters.

Party control in Baldur's Gate 3 is a complete mess that begs to be addressed. SAY NO TO THE TOILET CHAIN

WotC are the ones who took a look and thought "yeah, +1 to more ability scores than any sensible character build will ever need is the only thing needed to make them competitive with other races with lots of more interesting and useful features and bonuses."

Larian changed Ranger to be better, if they can think of a way to change regular human to be more interesting, I'd be all for it.
