Hi,

We should be able to choose which member of our group speaks to the NPC in order to be able to attempt the dice rolls in a suitable way.
When a dialogue is automatically triggered, it is the closest character who is found in the conversation but not necessarily the most suitable for the dialogue.
As in the paper role play, it would be necessary to be able to choose who speaks when the dialogue is launched.

This avoids situations like always having to advance a weak character in close quarters first but strong for dialogue options.
For example: if the dialogue results in a fight and I put my rogue archer for the trickery / persuasion bonuses he will end up directly in melee which is not the ideal placement.
Or you have to put your characters in a strong melee at the front of the group but they will trigger the dialogues and will not necessarily have the charisma bonuses, ...

Being able to choose the speaker is more immersive (no character “stuck” on his dialogue) and better respects the role-playing role on paper.

Thank you for your work and your attention

So much this.

Letting us choose the member to speak will also pause the game to let everyone in multiplayer join in on the conversation before it starts too. So that people in the party won't miss anything.
This could be a toggle on/off option for those who don't want it.

This but also remove the ability to have every character go through the same dialogue. Its silly when you approach the same npc and get the same greeting all over again, the same dialogue checks, and even can convince them to give you the same item or such, and have to fall back on them suddenly proclaiming they must have been pickpocketed because its not there.

Hopefully it works smoothly in multiplayer too, then.

Another thing I've noticed about multiplayer is that... The custom to custom character dialog is absolutely garbage and pointless. Usually, after something happens, over your PC's head and your friend's PC there'll be an exclamation mark, and then they'll speak the same generic lines over and over again throughout the game, with zero personality.
