That way if you like it, we can use it during combat etc., but it comes off during cutscenes when your party needs to speak.

10/10 Idea, yes.

Also, +1.

Yeah, I usually hide my helmet and cloak in MMO's too xD.
I feel more connected to characters when I can see their faces.

Simply making helmets invisible is a bit of a lazy approach, I’d be happier if characters removed them when appropriate, eg. talking to someone who isn’t hostile, or when they’re at camp. Having no visible helmet but still having the benefits (if any) just doesn’t seem right, unless you’re using Disguise Self etc.

I agree. An option to hide the helmet is needed.

This is one of the few games where it at least looks good - but I think making it optional wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Assuming this option is in Larian's pipeline, but yes I would love this option!

I agree. I actually like how my mc's helmet looks (shadow of menzoberranzan) and wouldn't want it off in combat but I'd like to be able to see her face in dialogue/non-hostile cutscenes/etc.

What is the colour of night? Sanguine, my brothers and sisters.
