Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) General Random Quest Generator... uh oh.

Larian, could you comment at all on the depth this quest generator takes? Is it on the level of minor random sidequests? BONUS major random sidequests? These things, I'd probably love. But if all sidequests were random or indeed, all quests were random, I couldn't handle it.

Also, will the "random" quests literally be random or thousands of pregenerated quests? I hope it is the later (thousands of pregenerated).

Also, will there be any secret believable areas? I don't think there's a single person who dislikes these when done right. Dungeon Siege and Diablo 2 made them too hard to reach and too silly. Chicken levels? Cow levels? What about very secret enemy bases full of power, treasure, quests and the like? What about secret sub-planes or planar rifts that are as above, but virtually unreachable by normal means.

No, I'm pretty sure there will be main quests and subquests as in <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" />. The random subquests are a bonus, more surprises on top of what we already know from the previous game.

what kind of quest would that be?
i think it's somethingh like, find that neckless i lost or deliver this to a friend of mine?

and will the difficulty of these quest go higher if you in a higher level?
