I've been running BG3 on my desktop, with a 2070 Super. Obviously, that runs great. But next week I'm going to be travelling, and my 'gaming' laptop only has a 1050 Ti. Will BG3 run with that and an i5-7300hq, or would the disk space be better used for an older game?

I ran it on a Dell7000 i5-7300hq, 24GB RAM, and a regular 1050 4GB. It played well at medium, not above.

@Gt27mustang Yep, that's the same model I've got, though my GPU is slightly beefier. Love the speakers on that thing...

I’m playing it on my laptop with ti1050, works fine. I didn’t touch the settings, have no idea what they are on.

It’ll be fine.

I am playing on an old system because I’m waiting on building a brand new one.

I7-2600k sandy bridge (yes that old) with a 940? 960? One of the 900 series cards.

I’m running ultra without a hiccup. I even ran four clients to build my custom party, all on ultra. No crashes.

Damn right. I bought a new Asus ROG Strix G17 with a 2060 and all and I swear the sound doesn’t play half as good as on my old Inspiron7000

I've only found one laptop that can beat them, and that's the US$2400 16" MacBook Pro. I think Dell has cheaped out on recent Inspirons, and they're now the typical garbage notebook speakers.

Well 8 RAM is minimum and 16 RAM is very good for this game.
You do not need 24 GB RAM for this game.
However nothing wrong to have 24 RAM can be good in other games.

Yes I guess ... 1050 Ti 4GB is ok for medium.

I ran on MAX FULL HD (my display have max FULL HD) with this computer and it is not new computer I did pay it in year 2018.
