I really loved the original NWN - it really popped my cherry in relation to Western Style RPGs and D&D in general. Introduced me to Bioware as well.

They did an MMO and that's where it died. That's where most good CRPGs die tbh. Kotor, Elder Scrolls, NWN. I really enjoyed the 2nd one.

Neverwinter Nights 3 is already out, it would be 4 if they ever let go of neverwinter online, probably not though.

Perfect World announced that Neverwinter had shifted from the co-operative multiplayer game that was announced the previous year into a free-to-play MMORPG on October 5, 2011. This further delayed the game to late 2012.

I also quoted off the wiki that the game was going for co-op and scrapped to make a mmorpg instead.

You probably wont see another neverwinter game ever or at least for a very long time. All they have to do is throw another module on the game and call it a win. Making a new neverwinter would take away from the mmo that already making money.
