You can dismiss any party members you have by talking to them ( right clicking on them when you see the dark speech bubble on mouseover ) anywhere in the world :3 Happy trails!
+1. she is gone. You can find her body, but it's kinda buried.
Wait, how??? Pushing her out in Avernus and the body ends up somewhere on the sword coast? One reason to keep her a bit longer would be that nice plate she wears.

If she dies on the ship, you can loot her body on the beach. Not sure if you push her out of it though. I guess you can't.
As for the OP request, just let her die in your next encounter and don't resurrect her.

You don't have to wait. While she's in your part on the ship, just take her armor (and healing potion, scroll of revive). Especially if you don't care if she lives.
Personally, I left her in camp I got tired of hearing her complain all the time. Which is when I went into the Owlbear lair there was Khyber<Ranger/knight>, Shadowheart, Wyll, and Astorian. After we took out the Owlbear mother and given the choice to either Kill the cub or let it live. I let it live. I got approval from everyone that was with me yet got a Lae'zel disapproves. I'm like WTF she's not even in the party how would she know what we decide to do? Now wasn't this supposed to be fixed in the latest patch that if they were back at camp they would not have any approval items whether good bad or indifferent? Or am I wrong about this here?

That could be explained by the tadpole connection.
