Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems Just had my game crash 2x on xbox series x back to back once in game and once at the main menu

So last night I was playing with a friend on our very first playthrough of the game and we got a little past the area outside the prison where the pigs are on fire and into an area where a paladin is fighting a group of guys up some stairs above a dungeon entrance you can enter below. But I got to this point with my friend and my game hard crashed and sent me back to the dashboard on my xbox then I booted the game up again and once getting to the main menu my game literally froze and I couldn't select anything at the main menu and 45 seconds later or so it crashed again. Then I reset my xbox and it appeared to be working but didn't play much after that.

What is causing this crashing and freezing like this? Especially on a brand new xbox series x console? And has anyone else had this happen before?
