Larian Studios Forums General Chat Is there any hope for a revisit to the Dragon Knight games?

Ego Draconis was my childhood and I am desperate for another third person dragon knight rpg game (dragon commander didn't quite fill that niche for me). Has there been any word on the likelihood of that—or have the top-down games just been too successful?

Side note: I hope we get more Bellegar antics at some point. Best character by far.

That would be quite nice. I'd also quite like a return to the third-person viewpoint of Divinity 2, or at least for it to be an option. I dare say that Larian's engine is quite capable of doing so, but it's impossible to speculate what might happen in the future.

And yes, the rhyming madman definitely needs to make a comeback.

I actually did enjoy Ego Draconis. But it's pretty safe to say that the Original Sin series is the biggest priority right now, and I would be surprised if Larian ever went back to making non-turn based games ever again.
