Who here thinks or should have an online version?

This has been discussed extensively -- but let me just say that I don't want to see it online. Multiplayer, perhaps, but not online. I'd much rather chew my hands off than play against a l33t haxx0r kiddie who has somehow figured out a way to get a 1300 level hero wielding a sword that does 40000 damage per hit.

you put the words right out of my mouth, i totaly agree with you

I have been frozen in my seat on many occasions not wanting to move my mouse for fear of what might happen next, I’ve heard sounds and voices so clear that I was becoming unsure if they were actually coming from the speakers

Mr Old Hand, having such a status you should know by now that cursing like that is not much appreciated around here -- The guy just asked a question that's been asked a million times before... It's not like he blew up your pc

PS - MaddMannMatt, if you're not a guy, excuse me It's just a wild guess

Agree with Kajero.
This search engine doesn't work correctly imo.
And, noone harmed from that this guy asked this question one more time.
But, you are making him feel unhappy posting here his thoughts.
Even if he wanted just say something, and hope that someone responds, even then, you are still loyal and very patient old hand right?

You people are too nice and welcoming to newbies. I've never seen a forum that is so open and friendly, and I frequent a number of them.

What is the matter with you all?!

I joke, I joke.

I think that too, it would be better, without cheats off course, you can ask for help, and do a lot of things, and find better itens only in online games and blalblbbalbalbalblba. The online version is good idea, but is only for single because the style of the game, now i don't know because is only preview at now.

If you want a online game we can play Diablo2(without hacks and cheats).

That's great, now i'm a journeyman, journeyman, journeyman, journeyman

40.000 damage - only for hacks and cheaters.

Example - Diablo 2

My damage at lvl 68 - Bow Amazon(my bow isn't so good) - 300 - 1120
Paladin(My axe is awesome) damage at lvl 58 - with right skills can be
400 - 1900 (and i only played in single player with all characters, multiplayer only for batles or help someone.

Now, hack example

Druid lvl 32 with death ring(hack) - defense 60.000 life 80.000 damage 64.980 - one hit for kill.

I fight against my friend(he with hack(death ring) and me without, he lvl 32, me lvl 54, he don't kill my char, but I don't kill his char too. I hit him 1000000000000000000000 X and he don't die, but he can't kill me to, because my good skills. But it's not fair. Because I can beat him with one hit in the reality.

Well, i don't think it should ever go on line.
I think it should stay single player...the first one was such a success, why fix it if it is not broken?
@Lews - the only reason you have an old hand title is through spamming, and posting on everything you see. Titles don't have a thing to do with how much knowledge you have, or how long you have been on the forum.

It actually would be a fairly good marketing tactic!...and....
..definetly widen the possible audience

I wouldn't play it, for some reasons listed here......BuT,

probably a lot of other people who would,...
that like that type of gaming,
so in retrospect...
i think it may very well be, not a bad idea! ....
......as long as it doesn't affect "me and my game"

I would definitely be interested in a multiplayer . It would be fun if we could interact with other people from across the world. [Linked Image] I think that if our characters were saved online instead of on our pc, it would be harder for cheaters to cheat. In Diablo2 [Linked Image] I have yet to run into a level 32 Druid with one hit kill on closed b.net.

However, in order for an online to be successful, I think there must be some new revisions to add characters classes/races, change of clothing, more skills [Linked Image] and such to have more diversity. I know you guys have all read the forums about these so I won't go into detail. Lalala.
