Try elemental hail, metersrike doesn't work very well on them.
I used my Singing Blade - i found swords worked the best...
They are hard sucker though! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Well, it doesn't really mater, as long as it has some good stats on it. My best sword was the singing balde, but my sword of choas was good too. Your sword might be just as good...

The signing sword can be found if you kill pedro for the tingalf/stolen goods quest. Hes in the ars magicana sewers.
They are though becouse they use fire attacks <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> (iirc) So upgrade your res can be handy. Or use some restoration potions when nessessary.

I just didn't like that it took getting to level 24 to have elemental hail/strike.

No, it is a spell book - lets you achive the skill without spending the piont.
I know you have had to restore maria's reputation first, then you get access to the Merchant's Guild - and Trevor gives you a key to the library...

Hell Spikes and Deadly Disks do physical damage, so can not be resisted.

There is no way to rescue Dorian.

I turned Dorian in as well for the better experience points (since he gets caught either way), not realizing at the time there was a reputation bonus for no doing so. Oh well....

The Romeo and Juliet house remains empty.

Ahh the Romeo and Juliet house, the first time i ever played that area.....a girl approached me and asked me something. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />...that was a long time ago. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />..and before tha patch.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" />.. so all this typing is probably moot! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
